About Visit-Seville
Hola! I’m Richard and welcome to Visit-Seville.com, my complete Seville city guide!
I’m a British expat living in Seville, having moved here permanently in the summer of 2024.
Originally from England, I met my Spanish wife whilst working in the UK, before we both made the decision to move back to her home-town of Seville!
I’m a keen traveller, having visited over 40 countries around the world, and before my move had been coming to Seville quarterly for the last 8 years (my wife missed the weather!).

I first visited Seville in 2017 and instantly fell in love with architecture, weather and delicious food – not to mention the wonderful people!
Over the years, I’ve seen tourism in Seville skyrocket. Some of the biggest attractions are now much busier than when I first started visiting. Believe it or not, I was able to buy Royal Alcazar tickets on the day when I first came!
It’s great that more people can enjoy this beautiful city, but it can also make things harder for visitors. There are now more tourist traps, and tickets to the main attractions can sell out fast.
Without a bit of planning, you can end up spending more time queuing than actually exploring. That’s where I hope this guide can really help – saving you time, money, and the stress of missing out.

I’m eager to share as much knowledge and as many tips as I can to people visiting this beautiful city through my online travel guide.
Having personally visited every major attraction and tried hundreds of tapas bars (all in the name of ‘research’ of course!), I hope to offer the best tips and honest advice for anyone coming to Seville.
