Real Betis Tickets – Guide for Watching Real Betis
Real Betis Tickets – Guide for Watching Real Betis
Ticket Information for Real Betis Tickets
For an avid football fan (or soccer in some places) a great way to spend time between visiting attractions in Seville is to watch a Real Betis match.
It can be difficult to find Real Betis tickets, with the stadium selling out every week. This guide will help you find the best options for buying tickets to a Real Betis game.
2024/2025 Real Betis Fixtures
The following is a list of Real Betis home fixtures. All matches listed are played locally in Seville, but please double check times and dates as they are subject to move for TV and cup game clashes.

Booking Real Betis Tickets
Most of the Real Betis tickets are given to long-term season ticket holders and locals who have booked via the official Real Betis ticket website.
Tourists visiting can sometimes have difficulty purchasing through official channels (they sell out months in advance, or require you to be a club member) so the best way to buy is through the secondary market on StubHub.
StubHub allows you to choose where you want to sit, and can be flexible – allowing you to book tickets on the day of the match, helping to plan around your Seville itinerary.
One of the biggest difficulties when buying Real Betis tickets is the uncertainty around the days the game is being played and what time kick off is. TV companies showing Spanish football often make last minute changes, or don’t confirm exact schedules until few weeks in advance.
League matches are generally played on a Saturday or Sunday (sometimes a Monday too), so just double check the schedules and times when booking in advance.
Real Betis aren’t the only team to play football in Seville, you also have Sevilla FC. Only one of the teams (Real Betis or Sevilla FC) plays in Seville each week (alternating for crowd control) so check Sevilla FC ticket information if Real Betis aren’t playing when you’re visiting.
Note: Outside the stadium on match days there are sometimes ticket touts selling tickets. Do not buy from these – it is illegal in Spain to buy from these, and often they can be scams offering fake tickets.
Where do Real Betis play?
Real Betis play their home matches in the Estadio Benito Villamarín. The stadium is located a little outside the centre of Seville and not very close to the city’s major attractions.
The stadium, as of 2024, can hold up to 60,000 people at once and they often sell out all tickets which creates an incredible atmosphere.
It’s fairly simple to get to the Real Betis stadium via public transport and I’d recommend the bus as the best method. Getting any of the following TUSSAM buses: routes 1, 2, 3, 34 will take you to the nearest stop the stadium, the C2 square.
Unfortunately there is no metro or tram station nearby, with the Santa Justa metro station around an hours walk away.
Extra buses are put on around match day to ease the congestion of all the fans travelling. Be aware that on match days the area around the stadium can get very busy and cause delays in public transportation.
When is the Real Betis Football Season
In Spain the football season lasts around 9 months, starting in early August and goes on until early May the following year.
Most domestic league matches are played during the weekend, with domestic cup competitions played mid-week.
As the weather in Seville is very hot during the day, the games are often played later in the evening when it is cooler – around 9pm.
As well as domestic league and cup matches, some teams in Spain (such as Real Betis) play in European competitions which means additional games during the week.
To see the latest information around fixtures and match times/dates check the official Real Betis website.
Choosing the best Seats for Real Betis Tickets
Picking seats when visiting a stadium you have never been to before can be difficult, hopefully this short guide will help you pick the best seats for your Real Betis tickets.
If you want to be situated in an area with the most passionate crowd and craziest atmosphere then I would advise going to either stand behind the goals. The ‘Gol Sur‘ or ‘Gol Norte‘ stands are the cheapest available in the stadium (category 3).
For a slightly (only just!) less crazy atmosphere a good option is getting seats in the preferencia or fondo areas, where you’ll also find the family area.
Tickets are slightly more expensive here (Category 1) but you’ll find the best views of the game – seats closer to the halfway line offer you a pitch-wide view and are the most premium.
You also can’t go wrong with the stadium corners (category 2 tickets) that offer the perfect blend of atmosphere, view and affordability. I’ve sat in the corners of this stadium on both my visits to the Estadio Benito Villamarín, and had a great experience both times.
Watching a Real Betis is also suitable for children, I would advise to sit in the family areas, but all parts of the ground have a safe and friendly environment.
Real Betis Football Tickets Price
The price of Real Betis tickets can depend on the opponent, the competition being played, and the location of your seat.
More high profile games, such as when Real Betis play Sevilla FC, or some of the bigger names in Spanish football (Real Madrid and Barcelona), can make the prices sky rocket.
Here is a 2024 guide to rough prices of tickets for Real Betis:
Ticket Category | La Liga Matches | UEFA Competitions | Copa del Rey Matches |
---|---|---|---|
General Ticket | €30 – €90 | €30 – €70 | €15 – €40 |
‘Preferenci’ (Premium) Seating | €90 – €250 | €80 – €150 | €50 – €80 |
Boxes and VIP Hospitality | €250 – €700 | €200 – €400 | €100 – €200 |
Real Betis Tickets to Stadium Tour
If seeing a Real Betis game is not possible (maybe there are no games on during your visit) then you can still get a football related experience by visiting the Real Betis stadium.
They hold a stadium tour almost every day of the week (including match days) that can be booked online via the official Real Betis website.
Alternatively you can also book a Sevilla FC stadium tour, more details can be found on our Sevilla FC Stadium guide.
