Cocktail Bar Seville – Best Cocktail Bars in Seville

Guide and Information for the Best Cocktail Bars in Seville

The dining scene in Seville is very traditional, with local restaurants often serving a limited drinks menu. Usually these small local bars only serve the basic drinks (think beer and wine) and cocktails aren’t something you’d order alongside your tapas.

However, in more recent years, cocktail bars have started to become more popular for both locals and tourists.

Here we look at some of the best cocktail bars in Seville as of 2024:

Best Seville Cocktail Bars:

1. The Second Room Sevilla

The Second Room is often spoken of as the best cocktail bar in the whole of Seville, and to be honest it would be hard to argue with that. The venue is small but it adds to the excellent lively atmosphere inside. Beware on Friday and Saturday nights it can get very busy, so try and get their pre-dinner!

The Second Room does not serve food, but it’s located very centrally (literally 2 minutes from the Cathedral) within range of many delicious tapas bars, so is a great way to have a pre dinner drink or a nightcap after stuffing yourself with tapas!

The bar has all the classic cocktails you normally associate with a high-end cocktail bar, with special ‘The Second Room’ twists on favourites such as the Negroni and Sangria (see the menu below). They even have a ‘Special Cocktails of the Week’ which often has a local Spanish twist.

Address: C. de Placentines, 19, Casco Antiguo, 41004 Sevilla, Spai

Recommended Cocktail: Negroni “The Second Room” – Bombay Sapphire Gin, Martini Rubino and Martini Bitter.

2. Bar Americano – Hotel Alfonso

Bar Americano is a beautifully modern cocktail bar situated in the 5 star Hotel Alfonso XIII – to say it’s swanky is an understatement!.

The cocktail menu is full and complete, with all the classics with premium brands. The decoration is very high end – and the outside courtyard is a beautiful way to spend a sunny afternoon sipping cocktails.

The hotel the bar is situated in is renowned as being the best in Seville, and a cocktail (they also serve food) is a great way to check it out without having to stay there. The bar is central and close to all of Seville’s main attractions – the Royal Alcazar is just 10 minutes away.

Address: C. San Fernando, 2, Casco Antiguo, 41004 Sevilla, Spain

Recommended Cocktail: Aged Manhattan – Gin, Vodka and Lillet Blanc

3. Premier Nervion Cocktail Bar

Premier Nervion is a great option for those looking for a cocktail bar in central Seville. It’s also not just cocktails that Premier specialises in – its main focus is Gin! The bar has over 300 varieties of gin, which are great enjoyed alone, or mixed in with your favourite cocktail!

The cocktail menu is extensive, serving all the classics, and with so many gin, vodka, and rum varieties, you can personalise each cocktail to your own preference. The staff are friendly and experienced, and both times I’ve visited they’ve displayed an excellent knowledge of the different types of drinks available. Highly recommended.

Address: C. José Luis de Casso, 52, 41005 Sevilla, Spain

Recommended Cocktail: Beach Club – Absolut Vodka, Strawberry Puree, Passion Fruit, Orange juice and Cava.

4. Club San Francisco Seville

Club San Francisco is a cocktail bar located in the centre of Seville. It’s highlights include a terrace with stunning views of the city centre, as well as 3 floors serving delicious cocktails.

The bar has a very modern feel with a great atmosphere – the vibe is helped with the excellent lighting and music choices.

The drinks are slightly more expensive than other cocktail bars in Seville, but the premium price paid for the central location (it’s perched looking over a beautiful square) and the roof-top terrace, make this well worth the money.

The cocktail menu is varied, and the friendly helpful staff will help you find your prefect drink – sometimes going off-menu to do so. Excellent service and highly recommend bar.

Address: Pl. de S. Francisco, 8, Local, Casco Antiguo, 41004 Sevilla, Spain

Recommended Cocktail: The ‘San Francisco’ – Peach Juice, Pineapple, Orange, Grenadine, and Vodka.
